July 2006 - Happy Birthday William!

William Allan Long was born 7/25/06 at 11:30am. He weighted 7lbs, 110z, and measured 20.5in long. Labor was fast. When Alexis called the doc at 7:30 am, she (the doc) said it was too early to come in, and it would be better to walk around for a few hours waiting for the contractions to get closer together. When we pulled into the hospital parking lot at 8:30 the contractions were 2 minutes apart and Alexis was on the phone with the doc telling her to order up the epidural ASAP, since it might not get there fast enough.

Robert had a great time in the hospital after the baby was born. He liked the buttons that made the bed go up and down and was a big fan of hospital ice cream. He ate 1 container in the morning when Alexis was getting checked in, and 2 more for dinner that night after the baby was born.
