Here he is having an animated conversation with dad.
This pose is one of the common newborn reflexes. His arms are in what's sometimes called the fencing position. And notice that his legs are flailing so fast they're just a blur.
Robert's slow parents finally figured out how to put his bouncy seat into baby-activated mode.
When he kicks, sounds and lights go off on the blue bar. Fascinating stuff.
Robert hasn't yet mastered the art of keeping the pacifier in his mouth, so to keep him
happy during naps, we sometimes prop it up using a cloth. Here he is, as
El Sleepo Bandito, wearing the dishtowel as a bandanna. It also makes him look a bit like
he's in traction, but hey, you've got to do what works. Also notice that he's in a new
swing. We wore out the motor on the first one, and had to go out to Target THAT NIGHT for
a replacement. It was worth every cent.
Robert's been very personable lately!
And very interested in everything!
